CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR
A childbirth educator provides pertinent information to expectant parents about what occurs during pregnancy, childbirth, and the first few weeks of postpartum. These classes provide information on the importance of birth plans, labor coping techniques, comfort measures, and early postpartum recovery. The techniques learned are to motivate and empower mothers to believe in her own strengths to birth and to teach the partner how to support her through this birth journey.

This educator training is approved by ABP Doula Training Center and after completing the requirements, all certification paperwork will be sent to ABP. Your certification will be awarded through The Academy of Certified Birth Educators(ACBE)
